Track us via Garmin InReach Explore

Instagram

Boatie is here! The tracker died on Monday so we weren't able to follow the last few hundred miles. But she arrived right on schedule! We'll be in the water in an hour or so, and then starts the rebuilding process.
Barrie, Ontario waterfront on Lake Simcoe. We're bound for Midland to meet the boat on Tuesday. Definitely not in BC anymore. Getting there...
I love looking at clouds from above - doesn't it seem as if you could just step out and walk across them?
We left our Garmin InReach with the boat so we can track her progress across the country. There is a storm coming to the Prairies later this week, so they are going to Ontario via Denver... I guess route options are limited when your vehicle is 12 feet wide and 14 feet high! You can follow Innisfree's progress via the "Where Are We Now?' link on our website.
After 2.5 very long and busy days, Innisfree is all packed and ready to drive off into the sunrise (cause we're going East! 😉). We will meet her in Midland, Ontario early next week, and begin the process of putting her all back together. Great Lakes, here we come!
3...2...1... Chaos! We are making a big move for the 2022 sailing season, and the plans have been kicked into action a week earlier than expected. You can read all the details on our blog, sailinginnisfree.com. Meanwhile, we are hard at work at Shelter Island, getting ready as quickly as we can. Is there ever such a thing as a calm day in the boatyard?!
